Here's a bit from the Boston Globe:
Democrat Deval L. Patrick holds a commanding lead over Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey in the race for governor, even though a majority of voters oppose his positions on immigration, income taxes, and crime, a new Boston Globe/CBS4 poll indicates.
Just how stupid ARE these people? These are issues that will absolutely impact their lives, their property bills, the crime rates in their cities... and yet they're gonna vote the guy in.

Not sure I'd worry too much about that survey. It was performed by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center which is known for poorly performed and very bent polls.
They are imfamous for their micro polls that don't get reported and polls where the questions are so distorted that only those wading in the fever swamp would think them fair.
