Weird Report on Deval Patrick

I swear it almost feels like the Globe is out to get him. Now, I'm all in favor of seeing him virtually beaten about the face & neck, but this article makes no sense. From what I can tell, after reading it all, Duval Patrick did nothing wrong, profited not at all & seems to be correcting the issue. So where's the story? Maybe there's a subtle bit of real estate or mortgage mayhem that I'm missing here. I see a banking mistake, not something that he did. Heck, he's lucky. Most banking errors I've experienced ended up costing me money.
On the other hand, holy smokes the guy has been buying some expensive property and lots of it. This is a man of the people?
