Labor Unions Spending Money for Deval Patrick

You do know that if this were a national election, these ads would be illegal? Yeah. Love McCain/Feingold. But this is different than big businesses doing the same thing, isn't it?

Two big labor unions are paying to air their own independent television and radio ads supporting Patrick. Another Patrick ally, an independent group bankrolled by labor and Democratic organizations, may also rejoin the broadcast battle soon, after airing anti-Healey ads earlier in the campaign.
Now for another question, is this a "negative" ad or is it addressing the issues?
Last night, her campaign launched another negative ad, this one attacking Patrick's support for driver's licenses and tuition breaks for illegal immigrants, saying she will ``use our tax dollars to benefit those who abide by the law, not break it."
Personally, I want to know where they stand in regards to drivers licenses for illegals and out of state tuition on the schools. I personally find it apalling that someone can sneak over the border, settle into the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts and they get in-state tuition. At the same time, some straight A black kid who's a sixth generation American but happens to live across the border in Rhode Island is paying out of state rates. That's simply appalling and calling attention to Deval Patrick's stance on it is not "negative."
Patrick's campaign got a boost in recent days from the Massachusetts Teachers Association and Service Employees International Union Local 1199, both of which have launched ads in support of the Democratic nominee.
Of course it's the teacher's union. After all Deval is promising them more money.
Ah well, we gave Kerry Healey a bit of money and you should too.
