Deval Patrick Called on the Carpet

Now here's the deal. I don't want Duval Patrick elected because of what I know he'll do to taxes in this state and what I suspect, pretty strongly, he'll do to the, already draconian, gun laws. There also the concerns over his rather bad position on illegal aliens. Taken as a whole, I just don't want to be in a state where he's running the show.
On to the letter. Victims of crimes, including the Bish family, have sent a letter to Patrick, chastising him for his positions & actions in the Leguer case, and I think others.

The letter was signed by John and Magi Bish, whose daughter, Molly, disappeared from her lifeguard post at Comins Pond in Warren in June 2000, when she was 16. Her remains were found three years later in a wooded area a few miles away.
...
The letter was also signed by Annette and Peter Presti, whose daughter, Joanne, was raped and killed, and whose granddaughter Alyssa, 12, was also killed in their Woburn home in 2004. The suspect in the case is a man who had previously been convicted of rape. The other signer was Debbie Savoia, a victims' rights advocate.

Patrick was also apparently verbally slapped about the face & neck by the family of Leguer's victims since he called them to apologize for bringing their family's pain into the political arena. The letter addressed that as well:
Asked by a reporter if the family was still angry, Patrick said Thursday: ``I would only say that I gave them the opportunity to give me an earful and they did."
...
Yesterday's letter alleged that Patrick ``never thought it was worth your time and effort to contact the family of the victim until it became a `political' issue. This reflects as poorly on your character as it does on your judgment."

Hopefully all this will affect Patrick in the election. This combined with his association with Dukakis & Bulger, his tax policies, his stance on illegal aliens, will all work to take him down.
Vote for Kerry Healey
