Now From the MSM: Nasty Old McCain Attacks Darling Hillary

I wasn't going to comment on this except that looking at the headlines on googlenews you'd think that McCain was the one that lashed out at Clinton and wasn't responding to her statements.

ABC News Headline: McCain Criticizes Clinton on N. Korea
Newsday: McCain assails Clinton on N. Korea

And on and on.

Of course, all of them are moderate rewrites of the AP article which doesn't even place the timing of the comments. If you actually read what McCain states, he's responding to Clinton's remarks on Bush's "failure" in dealing with North Korea.
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Republican Sen. John McCain (news, bio, voting record) on Tuesday accused former President Clinton, the husband of his potential 2008 White House rival, of failing to act in the 1990s to stop North Korea from developing nuclear weapons. "I would remind Senator (Hillary) Clinton and other Democrats critical of the Bush administration's policies that the framework agreement her husband's administration negotiated was a failure," McCain said at a news conference after a campaign appearance for Republican Senate candidate Mike Bouchard. "The Koreans received millions and millions in energy assistance. They've diverted millions of dollars of food assistance to their military," he said.
Now what would he be reminding her of if this was a simple political attack and finger pointing? This was a response to Hillary's remark. I did find one article that at least makes some appearance of placing McCain's statement as a response.
McCain (R-Ariz.) issued his statement yesterday after Sen. Clinton (D-N.Y.) noted that six years ago North Korea's Kim Jong Il had no nukes and called Bush's policies on North Korea a "failure." She said it "raises questions, serious questions about the Bush foreign policy."
Now tell me, does this indicate a non-biased press? Wouldn't this still have been newsworthy had the MSM actually chosen to report this as a dust up between the party presidential hopefuls for '08?

Fair and Balanced in the MSM? There's no such thing.

Happily, they reported it just that way on FoxNews. Hillary said it first, McCain responded, and isn't it interested that they both might be running in 2008...
