Please Not Duval Patrick

I really, truly, do not want this man as our governor. The story so far...

Just wrote one letter, yep, that's it. Well, you know, two letters… or so. Well, yeah, four letters including an attempt to get him parolled from a life sentence, but that's it. OK, apparently some money, but we're not sure how much… what's that… 5000 dollars… Yeah, yeah, that's right, the four letters and 5000 dollars, but, really, that's all…

After all, we should trust this guy because, you know, law enforcement people support him, just like they do Kerry Healey

Healey appeared yesterday with about 30 police officers -- including the president of the State Police Association of Massachusetts, John Coflesky -- while Patrick turned out with about 40 current and former prosecutors, sheriffs, and other professionals

Oh yes, actual frigging police officers vs. "current & former prosecutors, sheriffs & other professionals" AKA "elected Democratic hacks" and which one would you believe?
And take this Deval:
Meanwhile, Robert J. Barry, the son-in-law of the woman LaGuer beat and raped, said in an interview he would not vote for Patrick in November.
``I think [Patrick] is a decent guy, but he shouldn't be in political office," said Barry, whose mother-in-law was 59 when she was beaten and raped by LaGuer. ``He can't even keep his own timeline. . . . This was not just a rape case, but a severe rape of an elderly woman.

Exactly.
