Jemma Wants Guantanamo Bay Prison Gone

Carter has added his voice to the call for closure. Amazingly he didn't come across as a crackpot this time. He even came out and stated:

Carter said the alleged abuses at Guantanamo Bay could never compare with the forced labor camps operated by the former Soviet Union.

I've also seen comments by Pelosi stating it should be closed down so that we can start with a clean slate. I don't have a direct quote since I can't find clip. But the statement about a clean slate is amazingly naive, if not exceptionally stupid. I don't see how she can think that the Islamic world will reassess the US based on this.
