Another view of the Parton subpoena

Let's hope that these predictions don't pan out. I really, really want the whole Oil-for-Food corruption brought out into the open for all the world to see. I want Kofi Annan gone. I want more reasons to hate the French! (Because you can never have too many.)

Excellent. I hadn't heard this one. I was just looking at other stories on this after reading this article.

Personally, I hope the US prosecutes those that are under their juridictions quickly. It makes me angry that France, Russia, Canada, Germany and other countries had people involved in this mess, but to have Americans involved is just outrageous.

Yeah, I agree, it's shameful that Americans are involved. And we should provide a stunning example by punishing them quickly and harshly once they are determined guilty. But on the other hand, the upside of having Americans involved is that we don't look like we're drumming up the scandal as revenge on those countries who voted against us going into Iraq - which no doubt the tin hat brigade will start to claim at some point, if they haven't already.
