When is One Court Not Enough

Here's one to make you wonder WTF? [h/t mAss Backwards]
Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley announced yesterday that two ''gun courts" will be established in Boston next month, but a top aide to the judge working on the effort downplayed it as a temporary measure to focus attention on several dozen pending gun cases.

The gun courts, which will join several others created in the United States in recent years, will move all firearms cases through the judiciary within 180 days, according to Conley's description. Such cases currently take about twice as long to move through the area's courts, which undermines public confidence, he said.

Yep, two. Because people who committ gun crimes deserve a speedy trial.

What's next, the Aggravated Rape Court? I mean, don't rapist deserve a speedy trial too?

That's sarcasm by the way. Just making sure you know.
