Intelligent Designer

I realize that linking to this article & commenting on it favorably will no doubt activate certain entities to comment on, not the article, but my age, intelligence, religion, etc., but so be it.
Nice article from Salon (not something I say every day) on the new Monkey trial taking place in Pennsylvania. They cover the issues and the trial quite well. I'm a bit irked that the reporter intentionally flatters the lawyer by comparing him to William Jennings Bryan. Seemed more than a little insincere, but whatever.
If your faith says that the world is moving through the universe on the back of a turtle, cool. Science doesn't support it, and, it's your faith, you can't get bent out of shape when fact based discussion about natural phenomena doesn't take into account your brand of magic. That doesn't seem to matter because certain religious entities in this country are horribly twisted by the fact that all of us don't follow their one true faith. They've long had it in for Darwin despite the continuing accumulation of evidence that the Theory of Evolution may be an stone cold fact.
Anyway, enjoy the read on Salon because I'm sure my next post about it will be to complain what a bunch of agenda driven morons they have working there.
