Michael Moore Letter to the Faithful

I'll be using the Wilton Democrat's site for examples of total blithering stupidity in the Democratic ranks. Here is a letter from the Lard Lad.

It must be in Moorespeak, because I can't seem to understand how anyone can't see the number of distortions and factually challenged statements therein. The worst part of the whole thing is that they position themselves as victims.

As victims we can't stop asking ourselves what we did wrong. We can't seem to grasp that they will keep hitting us and beating us as long as we keep sticking around and asking ourselves what we are doing to deserve the beating.

Listen to George Bush say that the will of God excuses his behavior. Listen, as he refuses to take responsibility, or express remorse, or even once, admit a mistake. Watch him strut, and tell us that he will only work with those who agree with him, and that each of us is only allowed one question (soon, it will be none at all; abusers hit hard when questioned; the press corps can tell you that). See him surround himself with only those who pledge oaths of allegiance. Hear him tell us that if we will only listen and do as he says and agree with his every utterance, all will go well for us (it won't; we will never be worthy).

Can this be real? Do these people really have such a poor grip on reality that they go to this level. The rhetoric is just fascinating.

And then this:

Any battered woman in America, any oppressed person around the globe who has defied her oppressor will tell you this: There is nothing wrong with you. You are in good company. You are safe. You are not alone. You are strong. You must change only one thing: Stop responding to the abuser.

They actually have the gall to compare themselves to battered women or the truly oppressed. Should I feel pity for them? I'm sorry all I feel is derision and loathing. If this election makes you view yourselves in this way, I'd hate to see you in a real crisis in life.

I didn't go to Moore's website because I don't want in any way to be viewed as supporting the Fat Farce From Flint.

Any other good nicknames for Moore will be placed here with extreme Joy irrelevant of how bad they may be.

Aaargh! The man makes me crazy. He would be just a laughable buffon except that lots of people listen to him. And think he's got something intelligent to say. And I'd really like to have a healthy, rational Democratic party, not a party of moonbats.

So, let me understand... "beating" someone in an election is the same as "beating" someone physically. I guess this makes sense to the lefties; they've been equating harsh words with assault for a few years now. And when Republicans win elections, they're abusers! Ah, it's all so clear now, thanks Mikey.

Then Mikey talks about how the abused need to just take the kids and the gays and the minorities (except those who voted FOR Bush, presumably) and walk out the door and leave the abusers behind and start a new life. Great. Where are they supposed to go? Iran? Canada? Korea? Well they'd get a lesson in real abuse in two of those countries. Or are they just supposed to start "ignoring" the government here? What planet is he on?

Then he says "he'll win, not because he's right, but because force works". Well, yeah, Mike that's why we're FIGHTING the terrorists, not just using harsh language. See, even Mike can grasp bits of reality from time to time.

Are there really that many lunatics out there that buy this crap? And if so, why don't we hear a countrywide howling every month on the full moon?

Honestly, you want to go up to people that are equating losing the election or verbal abuse to actual physical beatings and demonstrate the difference. "See Mike, you nougat magnet, this is verbal abuse. Any bruises? Cracked ribs? Shattered teeth? Dislocated joints? Actual physical pain of any kind? No? Good." a side-heel kick to the knee followed by a knee to the face as his head is drawn down followed by a knife hand to the throat into a sweep down with several punches to the ribs "Feel that? That's abuse. Get the difference?" It would almost be worth the jail time.
