AK, AR or Just a Mosin-Nagant

Personally, I'd like to have one of each, but since that isn't always possible, this checklist of the pluses & minuses of each design could come in handy. Favorite so far: "Recoil often used to relocate shoulders thrown out by the previous shot." This is especially true if you use that damned Czech machine gun ammo.
Anyone feeling really butch, I've still got a box downstairs. We'll get Nyarl to bring over the '44 carbine instead of one of my '91's or the 91/30 and then we'll give you a real education in PAIN! Of course, the eight foot jet of flame coming out the end of the barrel will be entertaining too.

Excellent table there. I got a lot of laughs, especially about what to do with them when you run out of ammo.

I'm just not thrilled by the AK or the AR. I'm more on the G-3 (H&K91) or an M-1A. I know that their much more expensive, but then I'm not up for buying toys at the moment. Why I'm not? I'm not sure. Just got my addiction in control after buying way too many guns when I got my FFL.

Well, maybe I will start looking again.

I've been getting the itch again. GeekWife isn't happy, but I haven't purchased a bang stick for over two years. That's a bloody long time when you consider that I used to buy one every couple of months.
As to the merits, were it possible, I'd just get one of everything. That'd make it easier.
