Treaty of Portsmouth: 100 Years

The treaty ending the Russo-Japanese war, and some other little things, was completed 100 years ago today on Portsmouth naval shipyard. Theodore Roosevelt won the Nobel Peace prize for his mediation.

This is the building where it was signed. I haven't been there in years, of course, it was on a secure government facility when I was there. I haven't been to the yard in years, so god only knows what the building is being used for now.
