New York Times Reports Positive Gun Use

I think we may be seeing signs of the apocolypse. The NYT is reporting on residents who are using their own firearms to protect themselves and their property and the Times isn't denigrating them. To my knowledge, this is a first in the modern era.
Arguments are coming out that since it's just larceny, and mostly for food, it should simply be allowed to happen. That'd be fine if that were the whole story. The Times report includes the attempted theft of a generator. I've read another report of the actual theft of a generator. There have been attacks on hospitals. Hijackings... Since it'll be a few more days before order can even begin to be restored, having your own firearm is a must for protection, not attack and the NYT's agreeing at last. Woo hoo!
