Armstrong Not Friendly Enough to the Crapeau

Tour de France starts Saturday and the head of the tour wishes that Lance were friendlier to the people.
"I would have liked him to be more available, closer to the people," Leblanc said of the American whose record six Tour wins in a row marked his long term at the helm of cycling's showcase race.

"Maybe the suspicions that have sometimes been uttered against him in France played a part in the distance he kept with the crowds as he was always very open and friendly to me."

Oh, you want him to be friendlier to the people the bellow obscenities and threats at him, spit and throw things at him. Yeah, it's all part of the tour, but why should he be friendlier to those that obviously don't want a good race, they just want a Frenchman to win.

Let's not mention the French press that for 6+ years have stated that he cheats and dopes, but have no proof. Not to mention that he has always passed the tests, even though the French refuse that the tests are the requirement to pass, then they say the tests aren't strict enough. Funny that, those tests have caught the French racers several times.

But Lance isn't "friendly" enough. Give me a bloody break.
