James Tiptree Jr./ Alice Sheldon

This is the type of article that makes reading Salon worthwhile. I don't believe I've read any of Tiptree/Sheldon's work. I do have her introduction to PKD's short story collection, "The Minority Report." Now I'm going to have to go home & read it. SF is such a wonderful medium filled with such wild characters. Mundane writing, and writers, is just so bloody mundane.

I really tend to enjoy PKD short stories more than his longer fiction. I just finished re-reading "A Scanner Darkly" and found that it sounded like one of his short stories, just fluffed up.
