Beirut War Photos Doctored

So Reuters is admitting that this is a doctored photo now. Go and look at it on LGF or Ace of Spades HQ.

Now, does this not reinforce my contention about the MSM assisting the terrorists? This picture is so simple to see that it's a fake that I'm shocked that Reuters printed it.

The photographer is Adnan Hajj in Lebanon. He's credited with lots of photos of dead infants in Qana as well. Should we question the veracity of those photos as well. Damn right we should.

The thing that disturbs me is that most blogs are primarily focusing on journalistic misconduct but are not cluing in that there is something more sinister in this particular instance. Sadly, I doubt this will come up in the MSM, especially if the Blogsphere doesn't seem to be addressing it.
Think of it this way. The doctored photo of Beirut makes it appear that the Israelis are using unusual levels of force and that is then editorialized into disproportionate force, which then goes to the Jemma Carter level of stating that the Israelis are targeting civilians. If this is what is happening with Israel against Hezbollah, could there be such reporting distortions going on with respect to the US efforts in Iraq?

And note, I'm not saying that such distortions are common place, but for a propaganda machine only small amounts could be effective. If Reuters couldn't be responsible enough to catch this incredibly obvious distorted photograph, what other photos and news are they and other news organs missing. And in missing them, how effective is the propaganda war that is being waged against the US.

There is no need to become paranoid about the news reporting, but there is justification for increased skepticism.
