Imbolc, Lughnasadh or just plain ole Ground Hog Day

Wish it were as simple as just sacrifice to a ground hog.

Those that "musn't be named" are a bit more demanding.

And what's with the Imbolc vs. Lughnasadh depending on the hemisphere?
While in the Northern Hemisphere Imbolc is conventionally celebrated on 1 February, in the Southern hemisphere it is sometimes celebrated on the calendar date, but those who see it primarily as a celebration of spring may move it to 1 August.
Now I'm all confused.

And for those less pagan, there is St. Brigid's day. Though I think that was actually yesterday.

Whatever. Can't have too many virgin sacrifices.

"Can't have too many virgin sacrifices."

I thought being a virgin WAS a sacrifice...
