Guns Smuggled on Airplane

This hasn't been out much, but since I was in Orlando this week, this peeked my interest.
Two men arrested this week on charges of sneaking guns and drugs aboard a commercial flight to Puerto Rico are part of a larger smuggling ring based at Orlando International Airport, federal authorities said Wednesday.

Details of the broader investigation were not made public Wednesday, but court records show at least one of the men, Zabdiel Santiago-Balaguer, has been under scrutiny for some time and heads a smuggling group at the airport.
Nice. Guess those nice tight security areas mean so little. This is a perfect example of how people can still intentionally undermine the security that is put in place. Now think about the RealID security cards getting issued around the controls when an employee decides that the money is worth it. Wonder how someone thinks that these systems will make us more secure?
