Captain Ed has an interesting bit related to a Gallup poll on President Bush's speech and the MSM lack of reporting on it. This is new to me as well. I've seen the discussions of all the MSM about how low the viewership of the speech was, but nothing on the Gallup poll.
I believe that the low viewership is probably not hard to explain. Democrats weren't going to watch it irrelevant of what was too be said. Republicans were mixed on watching and not most likely not related to support.
The lack of reporting on the Gallup poll I find disturbing, but not really surprising. Though you'd think that the poll would give them more viewers and thus more money.
